Donations will help Rainbow Community Center’s Homeless Transitional Youth Program (HTYP) provide assistance to LGBTQ+ youth & young adults from age 12 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness
Donations help support 56 nonprofit agencies of Meals on Wheels Diablo Region in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Meals on Wheels will provide a year of Internet service for 50 low-income seniors to participate in Zoom health and wellness classes and connect with friends and family.
Trinity Center was deeply impacted by COVID-19 with reductions in staff and volunteer programs. Donations will help the center return to its pre-pandemic services.
Berkeley Food Network provides meals to about 5,000 people per week. Donations will help them purchase seasonal holiday foods such as locally-grown organic produce, chickens, butter, eggs, and canned foods for distribution through their mobile distributions and on-site pantry. BFN serves anyone in need of food without asking for any qualifying information.
Donations will allow St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County, (SVdP), to brighten the holidays for low-income residents of East County. Their food-gift card distribution program at Thanksgiving and Christmas would serve 300 families-over or 1,200 individuals.
