Donations will help the Berkeley Food and Housing Project purchase ingredients for special holiday meals and gift bags with personal necessities for more than 400 people in the community experiencing food insecurity during November and December.
Donations will help Beyond Emancipation pay for holiday gift cards, rent support, food and other essential support services for foster youth through the winter.
Donations will help Immigration Institute of the Bay Area provide legal consultations and legal representation to the low-income immigrant communities in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
Shelter Inc. will use donations at its Mountain View Family Shelter in Martinez to help with cost of housing operations, client needs, food, transportation and supplies.
Donations will help Winter Nights Family Shelter to assist families move into permanent housing by covering rental deposits, and pay for temporary motel stays for families sleeping in vehicles.
