Donations will help Sunflower Hill provide programming and activities at Irby Ranch to help intellectually or developmentally disabled adults develop skills to support independent living. The programs will also be offered to 25 individuals outside of Irby Ranch.
Donations will help ShowerHouse Ministries pay for operating the showers, supplying items for hygiene kits and clean clothes, purchasing food and putting gas in the truck and filling propane tanks for hot water and cooking.
Donations will help fund Open Heart Kitchen’s Hot Meal Program that provides meals to homeless, senior citizens on a fixed income, and mostly the working poor.
Donations will help Goodness Village support 56 nonprofit agencies in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Goodness Village will use its grant to fund staff who are available to support the residents 24 hours a day and help alleviate crisis situations.
Donations will help Veterans Accession House install a badly needed air conditioning unit in one home and contribute to ventilation improvement for another.
