Sharing the Spirit: How you make a difference in lives of East Bay residents during the holidays

By

Bay Area News Group

Throughout the holiday season, the East Bay Times has been publishing stories about local nonprofits and the work they’re doing to improve the lives of residents in need through our annual Share the Spirit campaign.

Thanks to the generous support of our readers and other donors, grants are distributed each year to support these amazing organizations, which range from food pantries to feed the hungry to shelters for the homeless to job-training programs for the unemployed to support groups developmentally disabled children.

Below you will find links to some of the heartwarming stories we’ve produced so far, and more will be coming through the end of the year. To make a tax-deductible contribution, go to www.sharethespiriteastbay.org/donate/

Thank you for your support.
